The hospitals shall notify the Organs Recovery Organization of all deaths or imminent deaths. Furthermore, the hospitals in which persons die whose bodies or parts thereof have been bequeathed or donated for the ends and purposes of §§ 3620—3620y of this title, and that [are] aware of these circumstances, shall immediately notify the Board of the death of said persons in the manner and form provided by regulation. The Board, in turn, shall notify the donee, if he/she is a private person as well as the recovery entities that the donor has designated as beneficiaries of the donation.
The Board is empowered to provide all that is necessary for the conservation of the cadaver in those cases in which the donee lacks the facilities needed for its conservation.
