(a) All rooms, attics, basements, passageways, and other spaces shall be provided with artificial illumination. As set forth in Parts 2 and 3 and Sections E702-e and E702-4, Part 3, Title 24, California Administrative Code.(b) All patient rooms shall have a minimum of 30 foot candles of light delivered to reading or working surfaces and not less than 20 foot candles of light in the rest of the room.(c) All accessible areas of corridors, storerooms, stairways, ramps, exits and entrances shall have a minimum of 20 foot candles of light.Cal.
