Section 17-4-105 - Electronic records and signatures; applicability(a) This act modifies, limits, and supersedes the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act, but does not modify, limit, or supersede section 101(c) of that act (15 U.S.C. § 7001(c)) or authorize electronic delivery of any of the notices described in section 103(b) of that act (15 U.S.C. § 7003(b)). This act authorizes the filing of records and signatures, when specified by provisions of this act or by a rule adopted or order issued under this act, in a manner consistent with section 104(a) of that act (15 U.S.C. § 7004(a)).(b) The Financial Technology Sandbox Act shall apply to this act.Amended by Laws 2019 , ch. 61, § 3, eff. 1/1/2020.Added by Laws 2016 , ch. 22, § 1, eff. 7/1/2017.
