Section 393 - Employers' records; notice(a) Every employer shall keep a true and accurate record of the hours worked by each employee and of the wages paid to the employee and shall furnish to the Commissioner upon demand a sworn statement of the same. The records shall be open to inspection by the Commissioner or any authorized agent of the Department at any reasonable time.(b) Every employer shall keep a copy of the rules posted in a conspicuous place in the area where employees are employed. The Commissioner shall furnish copies of the rules to employers without charge.Amended by 2024 , No. 85, § 90, eff. 7/1/2024.
