Section 32B-2-211 - Review and audit of commission rules(1)(a) In 2019 and every third year thereafter, the Legislature's general counsel shall review each current rule made by the commission for compliance with current statute.(b) On or before December 15 of each year in which the Legislature's general counsel completes a compliance review described in Subsection (1)(a), the Legislature's general counsel shall prepare and submit a report to the president of the Senate and the speaker of the House of Representatives that describes the Legislature's general counsel's findings.(2)(a) Subject to the prioritization of the Audit Subcommittee created in Section 36-12-8, the Office of the Legislative Auditor General may review one or more current practices of the commission or the department for compliance with current statute or rule.(b) Following a review described in Subsection (2)(a), the Office of the Legislative Auditor General shall prepare and submit a report to the Audit Subcommittee that describes the Office of the Legislative Auditor General's findings and recommendations.Added by Chapter 455, 2017 General Session ,§ 17, eff. 5/9/2017.
