Section 801.553 - Terms; Vacancy(a) Members of the equine dental provider advisory committee are appointed for staggered six-year terms. The terms of the members expire on February 1 of each odd-numbered year.(b) If a vacancy occurs during a member's term, the presiding officer of the board shall appoint a new member to fill the unexpired term.(c) An advisory committee member may not serve more than two consecutive full terms.Added by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 940, Sec. 27, eff. 9/1/2011.
