Section 651.151 - General Powers and Duties(a) The commission shall establish proficiency, professionalism, ethics, and qualification standards for individuals issued a license under this chapter.(b) The commission shall examine each applicant for a funeral director's license, embalmer's license, or provisional license and shall issue the appropriate license to a person who meets the licensing requirements.(c) The commission may appoint a committee from its members to consider and make a recommendation on a matter referred to the committee by the commission.(d) The commission may appoint advisory committees to perform the advisory functions assigned to the committees by the commission.
