Section 2302.257 - Surrender of Certain Documents or License Plates(a) On demand, a salvage vehicle dealer shall surrender to the department for cancellation a certificate of title or authority, sales receipt or transfer document, license plate, or inventory list that the dealer is required to possess or maintain.(b) The department shall provide a signed receipt for a surrendered certificate of title or license plate.Tex.
