Section 1954.257 - Duties Regarding Employee or Agent A person engaged in an asbestos-related activity shall ensure that each employee or agent who will come in contact with asbestos or who will be responsible for the activity:
(1) is familiar with federal, state, and local standards for asbestos removal, encapsulation, and enclosure;(2) has completed the applicable training course relating to asbestos control and abatement developed and approved by the United States Environmental Protection Agency or the department under Section 1954.256; and(3) is supplied with approved equipment in good working order for the protection of the person, the public, and the environment.Tex.
