(a) When the entire indebtedness due the state under the contract of sale is paid, the chairman of the board shall execute a deed under seal to the original purchaser of the land or to the last assignee whose assignment has been approved by the board.(b) None of the provisions of this chapter shall be construed to prohibit the board from accepting full payment for a portion of a tract and issuing a deed to the land according to the rules of the board.(c) Deeds issued by the board and executed by the chairman under seal are ratified, confirmed, and validated whether they convey all or only a part of the land contracted to be sold to the veteran.(d) If a deed is executed to a person other than the legal owner or to a deceased grantee, the deed and the rights conveyed still inure to the benefit of the legal owner.Tex.
