Section 81.01012 - Gifts, Grants, and Donations(a) In this section, "contested case" has the meaning assigned by Section 2001.003, Government Code.(b) The commission may apply for, request, solicit, contract for, receive, accept, and administer gifts, grants, and donations of money or other assistance from any source to carry out any commission purpose or power.(c) The commission may not, under Subsection (b), accept a gift or donation of money or of property from a party in a contested case during the period from the inception of the contested case until the 30th day after the date a final order is signed in the contested case.Tex.
