Section 402.043 - Career Ladder; Annual Performance Evaluations(a) The commissioner or the commissioner's designee shall develop an intra-agency career ladder program that addresses opportunities for mobility and advancement for employees within the division. The program shall require intra-agency postings of all positions concurrently with any public posting.(b) The commissioner or the commissioner's designee shall develop a system of annual performance evaluations that are based on documented employee performance. All merit pay for division employees must be based on the system established under this subsection.Amended By Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 265, Sec. 1.007, eff. 9/1/2005.
