Tex. Ins. Code § 1131.702

Section 1131.702 - Payment of Premiums

The premium for the policy must be paid from:

(1) the policyholder's funds;

(2) funds contributed by the insureds; or

(3) both the policyholder's funds and funds contributed by the insureds.
