Section 885.059 - Location of Meetings of Supreme Governing Body(a) A domestic fraternal benefit society may provide that its supreme governing body may hold meetings in any state, district, province, or territory in which the society has a lodge.(b) All business transacted at a meeting authorized under Subsection (a) is as valid in all respects as if the meeting were held in this state.Added by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 1, eff. 6/1/2003.
