Section 4001.202 - Appointment By Multiple Insurers(a) Except as specifically prohibited by this code, an agent may represent and act as an agent for more than one insurer.(b) Not later than the 30th day after the effective date of the appointment, the agent and the insurer involved shall notify the department, on a form prescribed by the department, of any additional appointment authorizing the agent to act as agent for one or more additional insurers. The notice must be accompanied by a nonrefundable fee in an amount set by the department for each additional appointment for which the insurer applies.Tex. Ins. Code § 4001.202
