Section 614.061 - [Effective 1/1/2025] Definition

In this subchapter, "peace officer" means a person who:

(1) is elected, appointed, or employed by a governmental entity; and

(2) is a peace officer under Article 2A.001 , Code of Criminal Procedure, or other law.
