Section 14.209 - Appointment of Receiver(a) In addition to other remedies for the enforcement of a restraining order or injunction, the court in which an action is brought under Section 14.208(c) may impound and appoint a receiver for the defendant's property and business, including a document relating to the property or business, as the court considers reasonably necessary to prevent a violation through use of the property and business. (b) On appointment and qualification, a receiver has the powers and duties of a receiver under Chapter 64, Civil Practice and Remedies Code.Amended by Acts 2023, Texas Acts of the 88th Leg.- Regular Session, ch. 159,Sec. 2, eff. 9/1/2023.
