Section 201.017 - Oath; Compensation(a) Each member of the state board shall take the constitutional oath of office.(b) Each member of the state board is entitled to compensation in an amount not to exceed $100 for each day of actual service rendered. In addition, each member of the state board is entitled to reimbursement for expenses, including traveling expenses, necessarily incurred in the discharge of official duties.Tex. Agric.
