Section 50-5-214 - Effect of modifications, amendments, or assignments of contracts(a) Modifications, amendments, or assignments of contracts previously approved by the court are deemed a new contract and require separate approval under this part.(b) Notwithstanding subsection (a), this section does not require court approval if the employing company assigns its rights in the contract to a successor or affiliate entity.
