Section 1714-A.1 - Termination(a)Termination.--The Health Endowment Account for Long-Term Hope and Health Venture Investment Account shall terminate and close January 1, 2015.(b)Transfer of assets.--Notwithstanding Chapter 3 of the Tobacco Settlement Act or other law to the contrary, all assets, nonliquid investments, contractually obligated money, return on investments and any other money or assets in the Health Endowment Account for Long-Term Hope and the Health Venture Investment Account shall be retained in the accounts until distributed under section 1715-A.1.(c)Investments.--Beginning July 1, 2014, the Tobacco Settlement Investment Board shall not enter into any partnerships or investments.Added by P.L. 1053 2014 No. 126, § 12, eff. 7/10/2014.
