Section 919 - Officers to give security

The secretary of the land office, surveyor and receiver general, shall, severally, before they are empowered to act, enter into an obligation before the president of the state, with one or more sufficient sureties, in the sum of ten thousand pounds, to the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, conditioned for the faithful discharge of their respective offices.
