Section 818.305 - EnforcementNotwithstanding the enforcement powers granted to law enforcement officers to institute summary criminal proceedings pursuant to section 302(b), the enforcement of the laws and rules and regulations governing practice under this act is primarily vested in the board with the following additional powers and duties to:
(1) Inspect all license holders.(2) Authorize investigations of alleged violations.(3) Review and inspect all business records, documents and files relating to practice under this act.(5) Take depositions of witnesses in the manner provided for in civil actions in courts of record.(6) Bring criminal prosecutions for unauthorized, unlicensed and unlawful practice in accordance with the terms and provisions of the act of October 15, 1980 ( P.L. 950, No.164), known as the Commonwealth Attorneys Act.(7) Obtain injunctions from a court of competent jurisdiction against persons acting in violation of this act.Amended and Renumbered by P.L.
