Section 15174 - Style and materials; height

In the districts named in section one hereof, the division fence between adjoining improved premises, required by law, may be boards, palisades, pickets, palings, iron, or wire; or may be a wall of brick, stone, or concrete, or may be a hedge; or a combination of any of these styles and materials, as the owners or occupants of the said adjoining improved premises may agree: Provided, That no such fence shall be more than four feet high, without a permit therefor having been first obtained from the Bureau of Building Inspection.
