Section 49 - Penalties
(a) Any privately employed agent who in the course of his employ carries a lethal weapon, and who fails to comply with subsection (b) of section 4 or with subsection (a) of section 8 of this act, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be subject to imprisonment of not more than one year or payment of a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars ($1,000), or both.
(b) Any privately employed agent who in the course of his employ carries a lethal weapon, and who violates subsection (c) of section 7 of this act shall be guilty of a summary offense, and, upon conviction, shall pay a fine not exceeding fifty dollars ($50).
