The sheriff, prothonotary, and all other county officers of this Commonwealth, to whom any money shall be paid as fees, costs, or for other purposes, shall forthwith credit such amount to the party or parties entitled to receive the same; and shall, at the beginning of each quarter, post in his office a notice showing the amount due each person from such source.
