Section 2706 - Removal and disqualification of officers and employees(a)General rule.--Except as otherwise provided in section 2705 (relating to political activity), an individual holding a position in the classified service who intentionally violates the provisions of this chapter shall be immediately separated from the service.(b)Duty of appointing authority.--The appointing authority of the State agency in which the offending individual is employed shall remove the individual at once in accordance with the provisions of this part.(c)Ineligibility after removal.--An individual removed under this section shall be ineligible for reappointment to a position in the classified service for a period of time to be determined by the Office of Administration.Added by P.L.
