Section 6136 - Licensee limitations(a)Name and changes to name.--A licensee cannot transact any business under this chapter under any other name or names except those names designated in its license. A mortgage originator may not use any other name other than the mortgage originator's personal legal name. A licensee that changes its name or place or places of business shall notify the department or the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, as determined by the department, within ten days of the change.(b) Other businesses.--A licensee cannot conduct a business other than the mortgage loan business licensed by the department under this chapter without at least 30 days' prior written notification to the department.Amended by P.L. 210 2013 No. 38, § 3, eff. 8/31/2013.2008, July 8, P.L. 796, No. 56, § 1, effective in 120 days [Nov. 5, 2008].
