Section 648.055 - Cancellation of registration upon dissolution or when corporate authority withdrawn or revoked(1) If the only registrant of an assumed business name is a domestic corporation that has been dissolved, the Secretary of State may cancel the registration.(2) If the only registrant of an assumed business name is a foreign corporation whose authority to transact business in this state has been withdrawn or revoked, the Secretary of State may cancel the registration. 1969 c.154 §7; 1987 c.94 §165; 2005 c. 22, § 452
