A. Each certified program shall effect a criteria for selecting referred cases for mediation and shall formalize such criteria in writing. Said criteria shall include the purpose, scope, and jurisdiction of the program and the types of cases to be accepted.B. An initial interview will be conducted on every dispute referred to dispute resolution programs that operate under the authority of the Act and the Oklahoma Rules and Procedures for the Dispute Resolution Act. The interview is for the purpose of determining the identity of the parties, if the matter is appropriate for mediation and if the parties are capable of meaningful participation in the mediation process.Adopted 4/8/1986; Revised 4/20/1989.
