Section 3905.061 - Agent to file of change of address(A) If a person licensed as an insurance agent under section 3905.06 of the Revised Code changes the person's address within the state, the person shall, within thirty days after making that change, file a change of address with the superintendent of insurance or the superintendent's designee.(B)(1) If a person licensed as an insurance agent under section 3905.06 of the Revised Code changes the person's home state, the person shall, within thirty days after making that change, file a change of address with the superintendent and provide the superintendent with certification from the new home state.(2) If a resident insurance agent complies with division (B)(1) of this section and the agent is in good standing with the superintendent, the agent's license shall be changed to that of a nonresident license and no fee or license application shall be required. A change in the residency status of an insurance agent license under this section does not change the license renewal date established by the initial licensure under section 3905.06 of the Revised Code.Amended by 128th General Assembly, HB 300, §1, eff. 5/26/2010.Effective Date: 09-01-2002 .
