The Lieutenant Governor, serving as the head of a principal department otherwise eligible to a salary adjustment pursuant to section 1 of P.L.1974, c.55 (C.52:14-15.107) as amended by P.L.2023, c.349 (C.52:14-15.107a et al.) shall be ineligible for such salary adjustment until the commencement of the term of office of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor inaugurated in January of 2026.
