Section 13-37-217 - Contributions in name of undisclosed principal(1) Except as provided in subsection (2), a person may not make a contribution of the person's own money or of another person's money to any other person in connection with any election in any other name than that of the person who in truth supplies the money. A person may not knowingly receive a contribution or enter or cause the contribution to be entered in the person's accounts or records in another name than that of the person by whom it was actually furnished.(2) A joint fundraising committee shall allocate contributions as provided in 13-37-211 to a participant in the name of the original contributor to the joint fundraising committee, and a participant may receive and may enter these contributions into the participant's account. A participant shall account for the original contributors of the gross contributions allocated by the joint fundraising committee in the participant's records.Amended by Laws 2021, Ch. 494,Sec. 14, eff. 7/1/2021.En.
