Section 471.3422 - WEBSITE DOMAIN REQUIREMENT FOR CERTAIN COUNTIES, CITIES, AND TOWNS(a) By June 1, 2026, every county and each municipality that administers absentee voting must use a. gov domain for the website address used by the county or municipality.(b) If a municipality subject to this section has applied for a. gov domain but has not fully transitioned to using a. gov domain by June 1, 2026, the municipality is not in violation of this section. Such a municipality is in violation of this section if the municipality has not fully transitioned to using a. gov domain by June 1, 2028.Added by 2024 Minn. Laws, ch. 112,s 2-73, eff. 8/1/2024.
