Section 324.80303 - Rules; cancellation of improperly issued certificate of title(1) The secretary of state shall promulgate rules to implement this part.(2) If it appears that a certificate of title is improperly issued, the secretary of state shall cancel the certificate. The secretary of state shall notify the person to whom the certificate of title was issued, as well as any lienholders appearing on the certificate of title, of the cancellation, and shall demand the surrender of the certificate of title, but the cancellation shall not affect the validity of a lien noted on the certificate of title. The holder of the certificate of title shall return it to the secretary of state immediately.Add. 1995, Act 58, Imd. Eff. 5/24/1995 .
