Section 1652 - District school committee1.Officers, treasurer's fee and bond. The district school committee shall, annually in April, choose by ballot from its membership a chairman, a treasurer and a secretary. It may authorize the district's superintendent to be the treasurer and secretary.A. The treasurer, if authorized by the district school committee, may receive up to $250 for services. The treasurer shall give a bond to the community school district in the sum and with sureties as the district school committee determines. The bond shall be deposited with the chairman.
