Section 23:102 - Employment service exclusionsA. The provisions of this Part shall not apply to any person conducting a business which consists exclusively of employing individuals directly for the purpose of furnishing contract or temporary help.B. The provisions of this Part shall not apply to the operation of any lawful hiring hall system operated by a labor union, to any lawful referral system operated by a labor union, or to the operation of any labor organization or its officers, agents, employees, and members.C. The provisions of this Part shall not apply to any person who seeks to or who employs an employee solely for his own use provided that no fee is charged directly or indirectly for employment given.D. The provisions of this Part shall not apply to any nonprofit corporation, organization, or association that offers an employment service exclusively to its members on a nonprofit basis.E. The provisions of this Part shall not apply to employer-fee-paid employment services, whether domestic or foreign, or authorize or allow the regulation of the charges made by such employment services to employers.Acts 1981, No. 732, §1.
