The Children’s Medical Emergencies Prevention and Vigilance Program, henceforth the “Program”, is hereby created and attached to the Department of Health to promote the development of quality emergency services for the children in the community, the establishment of a data registration and vigilance system and the creation of prevention programs, all geared to improve the chances for survival of the children in emergency situations.
