§ 566. Permits—Bond

Prior to the issuance of any permit, the Superintendent may require the giving of a bond to guarantee payment of the damages that may occur through the use and handling of explosives or substances that may be used to manufacture explosives. The Superintendent shall fix the sum to which said bond shall amount and the time during which same shall be kept in effect. It is provided, however, that the bond shall never exceed $ 20,000 nor shall it be a requisite to keep it in effect for a period of more than two (2) months, once the permit has expired or has been revoked. The Superintendent is hereby authorized to prescribe by regulations everything relative to the furnishing of bonds.
