§ 1453. Jurisdiction of administrative appeals mechanisms—Board of Appeals of the Personnel Administration System

The Board of Appeals of the Personnel Administration System, created by Section 7 of Act No. 5 of October 14, 1975, known as the “Public Service Personnel Act,” shall retain its current jurisdiction for those cases in which the employees affected are not covered by this chapter.

The Board shall gradually reduce its personnel in the measure that the cases presented before it are reduced. The Board may transfer personnel to the Commission to those positions for which they qualify, and subject to the acceptance of the employees affected by the transfer.
