§ 1452v. Self-incrimination of witnesses

No person may refuse to appear and testify or produce any documentary evidence required, by alleging that the testimony or evidence required by the Commission may incriminate or expose him/her to a criminal process. However, no person shall be prosecuted nor subject to punishment or expropriation whatsoever for any transaction or matter with regard to which he/she must give testimony or submit evidence after having claimed his/her privilege not to testify against him/herself, except that said person may be prosecuted for perjury committed during his testimony before the Commission.
