The annuitants of the Retirement System that on July 1, 1968, have not attained the age of 65 years shall continue receiving the full benefits of the Retirement System on reaching said age; that is, there shall not be applied the formulas used under the coordination plan to determine the retirement or disability annuities, on and after the date he attains the status of fully insured under the Federal Social Security, and through which the annuities are received when the participants attain the age of 65.
Nor shall the annuities corresponding to the participants who on the date of approval of this act are separated from the Retirement System and who are entitled to a deferred retirement annuity be reduced when such participants attain the age of 65 years.
Annuitants of the Retirement System who as of July 1, 1968, have attained 65 years of age shall have from and after said date an increase in the annuity they are receiving from the Retirement System, until it is equal to that received before attaining said age.
