§ 3914. Charges, mortgages, and lease contracts

The vendor, who should recover the thing sold, shall receive it free of all charges and mortgages imposed by the vendee, but he shall be obliged to respect the lease contracts executed by the latter in good faith and according to the customs of the place where it is located.
