§ 3908. Sale of undivided estate under condition of redemption

If several persons, jointly and in the same contract, should sell an undivided estate under condition of redemption, none of them can exercise this right for more than his respective share.

The same shall be observed if the person alone who has sold an estate has left several heirs, in which case each of the latter can only redeem the part which he may have acquired.
