§ 135. Sale or encumbrance of property forbidden; liability and compensation of administrator

The administrator shall only have the right of administering the property of the absentee and in no case shall he alienate or encumber the same. He is also bound, as regards his administration, by the same obligations and responsibilities as those by which tutors are bound, and shall be entitled to the same pecuniary compensation for his services.
