§ 1030. Suspended sentence in misdemeanor cases when defendant is under 16 or over 60

Judges at the time of passing sentence, may suspend the execution of such sentences as they may impose in cases of midemeanor when the defendant is under sixteen (16) years of age or over sixty (60), provided the defendant shall not have been previously convicted of any crime.
