§ 422. Marshals—Acknowledgment of transfer by successor

He must also at the same time deliver to the new marshal a written transfer of the property, process and papers delivered. The new marshal must thereupon acknowledge in writing on a duplicate of the transfer, the receipt of the property, process and papers therein specified.
