Section 196.230 - Officers not to sell to institutions - Additional compensation and gifts forbidden(1) No officer in the department shall sell anything to any institution under the control of the Department of Corrections, or make any contract, in which he is interested, with the institution.(2) Officers and employees shall not be entitled to receive any compensation for their services other than the salary paid them by the state.(3) No officer or employee of the Department of Corrections or any of the institutions under its control shall accept any fee or gift for any purpose from any person who has at the time or has had a contract to do anything connected with the Department of Corrections or an institution.Effective:7/14/1992
