Section 8-23-7-18 - Exchange of lands, rights, and easements; valuation; payments for differences in value

Before making an exchange under section 17 of this chapter, both parcels of real property shall be appraised. Any difference in value between the two parcels of property shall be paid or received by the department. A sum received under this section shall be deposited with the treasurer of state and credited to the state highway construction fund.
