Section 4-3-25-6 - Member removal; vacancies(a) A legislative member of the commission may be removed at any time by the appointing authority who appointed the legislative member.(b) If a vacancy exists on the commission, the appointing authority who appointed the member whose position has become vacant shall appoint an individual to fill the vacancy.(c) An individual appointed to fill a vacancy serves on the commission for the remainder of the unexpired term of the individual's predecessor.Amended by P.L. 42-2024,SEC. 26, eff. 3/11/2024.Added by P.L. 7-2016, SEC. 1, eff. 7/1/2016.
