Section 36-5-2-9.4 - Majority vote; two-thirds vote(a) A requirement that an ordinance, resolution, or other action of the legislative body be passed by a majority vote means at least a majority vote of all the elected members.(b) A requirement that an ordinance, resolution, or other action of the legislative body be passed by a two-thirds (2/3) vote means at least a two-thirds (2/3) vote of all the elected members.As added by Acts1980 , P.L. 73, SEC.15.
